I would like to introduce my co-producer, Sarah E. DiMeo of Hells Bells Productions. Our project "SWAN" is a short documentary celebrating the history of Swan Day Connecticut.
For those of you who are not familiar, SWAN means Support Women Artists Now.
It is an international annual event created by WomenArts.org. Jennifer Hill (aka Murderous Chanteuse) is the founding organizer of the event here in Connecticut. Despite controversy- well, sexism, to be honest- she has put on this night of live music, painters, burlesque dancers, jewelry artists, fire dancers, and others showcasing the most talented women in our region year after year with growing success.
